Privé means "private" in French.  Our restaurant, I Privé strives to bring you along for the most unique dining experience.  

Our executive chef's speciality is to build a personalized food and drink pairing menu based on the patron's food preferences.  This is known as the omakase tasting menu.   To enjoy this type of unique dining experience, please ask for our executive chef Stanley Chan to help you make your menu selection

I Privé, Executive Chef and Owner

Executive Chef and Owner Stanley Chan has been in the restaurant business since 1982. He believes in starting with the freshest ingredients possible, then creating flavorful and unique dishes by combining Japanese, French and Californian styles.

After years of perfecting his techniques, Stanley's omakase menu contains the most unique fusion Japanese flavors you will find in the Bay Area.  

I Privé offers a personalized experience in food flavors.   We believe in giving back to the local Burlingame community and continuing to grow the thriving food community in this city.

Parking

We know it's hard to park in Burlingame, but parking is available either on 2 hour meters across the street or 1 block away in long term parking for $3 for 10 hours on Lorton between Howard & Bayswater.

Burlingame Avenue Parking Information and Map 

  • Long-term/employee parking (up to 10 hours) available in parking lots B, F, G, H, K, N, O, and W -- $3 for 10 hours.

  • Long-term parking within closer proximity to Burlingame Avenue (between 4 and 10 hours) available in lots A, C, D, E, J, and V -- metered

  • Short-term metered lots available right off Burlingame Avenue with time limits up to 2 hours at a rate of $1 per hour.

  • Street parking available throughout the downtown -- (metered)
